Sophie’s beautifully weird work is in residence at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and it is truly stunning in real life. Her pieces are often enormous, but that is not to say they are not detailed too. I remember some were constructed from tough wire with found objects almost threaded through them…the attention to detail is astounding. The park is incredible too, 500 acres of rolling grounds with hidden sculptures throughout. Perfect, no matter the weather.
